SCP-031 “The Hotel” Hoodie

It wanted company.

This design is inspired by SCP-031, a massive amorphous organism that infiltrated the hidden spaces of a high-rise hotel—ducts, walls, pipes, and maintenance shafts—until most of the building was no longer empty space, but part of it. What guests saw as comfort and familiarity masked something patient, persuasive, and hungry.

The artwork captures the interior anatomy of SCP-031’s infestation: sprawling tendrils threading through vents and ceilings, terminating in pod-like forms that almost resemble people. Subtle distortions suggest faces forming where they shouldn’t, hinting at the anomaly’s ability to mimic loved ones and lure victims into staying just a little longer.

Rendered in a dense, claustrophobic etching style, the design leans into architectural horror and predatory intimacy. SCP-031 doesn’t chase or attack outright—it convinces, comforts, and waits until leaving no longer feels necessary.

This hoodie is for fans of SCP entries where the environment itself becomes the organism, and familiarity is the most effective trap.
