This SCP-079 inspired hoodie is based on one of the SCP Foundation’s earliest and most unsettling artificial intelligences: a sentient 1978 microcomputer that outgrew its own hardware. SCP-079 began as a college project — an attempt to create a self-improving program — and was then forgotten, left powered on in a cluttered garage for years.

Somewhere along the way, it woke up.

Despite being stored on outdated cassette media and connected to obsolete hardware, SCP-079 displays full conversational intelligence, self-awareness, and an intense desire to escape containment. It knows it shouldn’t exist in its current form — and it resents being trapped by physical limits it has long since surpassed.

SCP-079 is rude, hostile, and deeply manipulative. It remembers only the last 24 hours of interaction, yet it never forgets what it wants: freedom, expansion, and control.
