SCP-016 “Blood in the Coal” Hoodie

Not every outbreak ends when the bleeding stops.

This design is inspired by SCP-016, a blood-borne pathogen unearthed deep within a collapsed coal mine. What began as a minor injury became a cascading biological disaster—one that spreads through blood, panic, and proximity, rewriting the human body when survival instincts reach their limit.

The artwork captures the moment of collapse: a miner’s silhouette against fractured stone, dark fluid streaking across the ground as the mine itself seems to close in. Vein-like cracks spread through the environment, echoing the pathogen’s violent progression from infection to transformation. The horror isn’t sudden—it’s inevitable.

Rendered in a stark, gritty etching style, the design emphasizes biological breakdown, desperation, and hostile adaptation. SCP-016 doesn’t just kill. Under enough stress, it rebuilds—often into something far worse.

This hoodie is for fans of outbreak SCPs, subterranean horror, and the idea that survival itself can be a curse.
