SCP-098 Hoodie — Pack Hunters

This SCP-098 inspired hoodie is based on one of the SCP Foundation’s most disturbing predatory species: a previously unknown land-dwelling crustacean that hunts with precision and coordination. SCP-098 specimens resemble oversized crabs, but instead of claws, their forward limbs terminate in razor-sharp, knife-like blades reinforced with silica.

Capable of breathing both air and water, SCP-098 thrives in environments offering shallow pools and dense concealment. What makes them truly dangerous is not their size, but their pack-hunting behavior. SCP-098 communicates through vocal mimicry, imitating the sounds of prey to confuse and isolate targets before striking.

When attacking, specimens surround their prey, disable movement with precise cuts, and immobilize wounds using a rapidly hardening secretion. Feeding begins only after the prey can no longer escape, extending over long periods as SCP-098 consumes tissue methodically.
